Build a Den!

Let’s build a den! What might you need to think about before you starting to build your den?

What might you need to construct your den?

• Some sheets or blankets.
• Furniture such as chairs to help hold the side up.
• A broom to help hold the roof up.

Where will you build your den?

• You might build your den in your bedroom on your bed.
• How about in the living room using the sofa or some chairs to help construct the sides?
• You could build a den under a table.
• If it's not too wet or cold outside you could build a den on your trampoline if you have one.

Now you have all the resources you need to build your den and know where to build it lets get started! Use the pictures below to help with ideas on how you might construct your den.

Now you have built your den you can have lots of fun playing inside. Here are some ideas of things you can do inside your den:

• You can take some of your toys and teddys into the den to play with. Maybe you can have picnic or tea party!
• You can Read your favourite books.
• You can do some colouring or mark making.
• If you have made you den in the living room why don’t you make it nice and cosy and watch your favourite movie.
