Addington School Governing Body

The Governing Body at Addington School are responsible for the conduct of the school and for promoting high standards. Governors are ‘critical friends’ to the school and each have skills, knowledge and experience required to contribute to the effective governance and success of the school. There is a mix of parent, staff and co-opted Governors, all of whom receive regular training conducted by the Local Authority and the Headteacher. Their aim is to ensure that children attend a successful school that provides them with a good education in a safe and friendly environment and promotes inclusion.
