UPCYCLE – Bike Repairs and Sales

Background

We are a team of students at Addington School who have started a bike upcycling project. This is part of the Tycoon Programme, Peter Jones Foundation. We wrote a business plan and were lucky enough to be awarded money to start up our business. We are now up and running and competing against other school children and hope to make our business a real success. For more information go to www.peterjonesfoundation.org

What we do

We can look after all of your bike repairs and will also be selling reconditioned bikes too. We are all coached by an expert bike mechanic and therefore all of our work comes with a warranty.

Whether you have a bike that has been sitting in your shed for ages, or a bike that you still use that needs a bit of TLC or a bike that you no longer want and would like to donate we can help you. Don’t let you old unused bike sit and gather dust or end up in landfill – we want it.

How to donate your unwanted bikes

If you do have a bike that with a bit of work can be brought back to working order and passed to a new owner then this is a great way to support this project. We also accept any bike bits, cycling equipment and other bike accessories.

If you have anything you’d like to donate please send an email to kimm@addington.wokingham.sch.uk.

If you are looking for a second-hand bike at an affordable cost then we are the people to speak to.

All our reconditioned bicycles are sold with a one-month warranty* and have been fully reconditioned by expert mechanics. They are all sold fully roadworthy and safe.

We also stock a range of second-hand bike parts as well as accessories. Please contact us for your needs and we can confirm if we can help you. We hope to have our catalogue ready soon All of our second-hand parts and accessories will all have been safety checked by us.

Please contact us for your needs and if we don’t have what you are looking for in stock we will do our best to get it for you. Please also look out for our advertisements of pop-up stands around Woodley.
