Musical Numbers!
The activity
Make up your own music with Martin! Follow these simple steps to get singing and playing music with numbers:
- Prepare resources
- Take a number out of the bag
- Place this number of pictures of your chosen instrument in the 'My Music' rhythm grid
- Play along with the song, playing your instrument the correct number of times while counting
- Repeat this until you have a full piece of music with all the instruments
- Perform along with the song, and don't forget to video your own Musical Numbers Song!
You will need:
- A saucepan and spoon
- A nail brush
- Two pencils
- Printed and cut out 'Musical Numbers Resources' (download below)
- A bag to put the cut out numbers in
