Making winter themed playdough with blue glitter.
Playdough Recipe:
8 tbsp flour (this can be substituted for gluten free)
2 tbsp salt
60ml warm water
1 tbsp vegetable oil (or baby oil or coconut oil- whichever you prefer!)
Blue glitter

Making edible snow to explore using our hands to explore the texture of the edible snow, or adding polar animals to create small world play.
Edible Snow Recipe:
10 cups of flour (1.25 kg) (this can be substituted for gluten free)
6oz (170ml) of oil (vegetable, baby or coconut- use whichever suits you best!)
Small World Play
Freezing polar animals in a bowl of water, adding some blue glitter if you can! Place your polar animals (or whatever you would like to freeze into a bowl and fill it with water. Add some blue glitter and mix it around. Place the bowl in the freezer for at least a few hours, and enjoy exploring the big dome of ice when it is frozen! Explore different ways to get the animals or toys out of the ice, using different tools and exploring how hot or warm water can help to melt the ice!
