Playdough Games

Squishing, rolling, sculping, molding… the children love to play with playdough. Adding some props from around the home and playdough becomes a powerful way to support the child´s learning. This simple activity let´s children use their imagination and strengthen the small muscles in their fingers. Using playdough with a friend, or siblings supports the child´s social skills such a sharing, taking turns and enjoying with other people.

Playdough play at home or school supports development and learning in many areas. When children use playdough, they explore ideas and try different approaches until they find one that works. Children come up with their own ideas, satisfy their curiosity, and analize and solve problems. These are skills that help children learn and succed in school.
