Numbers - Explorers - Number Hunt

Join Rachel on a number hunt around her home! What numbers can you see? Can you write down the numbers that she finds? Help Rachel to count out different amounts of objects too. 

 

Once you've watched the video, you might like to try some of the activities below. Happy number hunting! 

Sensory Activities:

You could go on a number hunt in a sensory tray. You could hide numbers in:

  • dried rice or pasta 
  • sand
  • jelly 
  • shredded paper 
  • shaving foam 

You could also hide different objects or toys and count how many you can find!

Print off the playdough mats below and have a go at following the instructions!

You could use the recipe below for easy playdough or use ready made playdough. 

  • 8 tbsp plain flour
  • 2 tbsp table salt
  • 60ml warm water
  • food colouring
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
