Maths - Adventurers - Making Money

Today we are using coins and notes to make different amounts.

Print out the main activity sheet below and find some coins to match the amounts.

If you don't have any real money just use the coins and notes which you can download below.

You can do this activity at 3 different levels.

Level 1 - easy

Use pound coins and £5 notes only.

Level 2 - medium

Use pound coins, £2 coins and £5 notes

Level 3 - most challenging

Use whatever coins or notes you like - challenge yourself to using at least 4 coins in each amount.

For example, for £1 you could use

Rare 50p fifty pence English coins Britannia 1997- 2008 Britannia 50p Circulated | eBay    20p Coins in Circulation | Check Your Change     20p Coins in Circulation | Check Your Change    Magnetic 10p (Strong) - Discount Magic
