It was a very cold start but the weather held off for us! All the beautiful new tree saplings have been planted along Woodlands Avenue; we have Holly Trees, Crab Apple Trees and Cherry Blossom Trees.
The Volunteers had a great day and thoroughly enjoyed themselves. They even managed to get some planting done in the Car Park to the school.

Kestrel Class Students made great hostesses, sorting out the catering for the lunches and tea breaks. We also had the help of the horticulture students, led by Chris Jones, the school’s horticulture expert, who were all fantastic!

On the same day, volunteers also planted another 32 trees elsewhere in the local community in Woodley.
Well done and thank you to everyone involved.
